Aquaponics In Aquarium






I used an old aquarium, window planter box, and aquarium water pump to make an aquaponic growing system. i installed a bell siphon into the planter box to control the water flow. i hate it when. The term “aquaponics” is a portmanteau for aquaculture and hydroponics. while aquaculture refers to keeping fish and other aquatic animals in tanks, hydroponics refers to the cultivation of plants in water without soil.. Apart from growing aquaponics plants, the growbed also acts as a bio-filter for your aquarium. when water is pumped into the growbed, fish waste and fish excretion will be converted from its ammonia form, to nitrite by the good bacteria in the growbed..
